Holiday Spectacular Clean-Up Day
It is time for some maintenance so a clean-up day has been planned for Saturday, February 4, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Holiday Spectacular Rehearsal Center, 303 E. Washington, Bloomington
Michelle Vought in Concert
- WHAT: Concert Series with Guest Artist - Michelle Vought
- WHEN: Sunday, February 5 at 3:00 pm
- WHERE: St. John's Lutheran Church, 1617 E. Emerson St., Bloomington
Michelle Vought will be a guest artist this Sunday, February 5, at St. John's Lutheran Church for their concert series. The concert is FREE, starts at 3:00 pm, lasts an hour, includes a lovely receptio, and will be replete with great tuens from opera to art song to operatta to musical theatre. Her son, Nick, is singing "Pie Jesu" with Michelle. Accompanist is ISU pianist Matthew Merz. P.S. - You will be out in time for the Super Bowl.!
Volunteer Grants
If you work for an employer who provides grants to nonprofit organizations to support their employee volunteerism and you meet the criteria, please consider submitting your request to benefit Holiday Spectacular, Inc. We are aware of the State Farm Good Neighbor Grant as described below. Please send us information for any others that we are unaware of.
- State Farm Good Neighbor Grant
- The State Farm Companies Foundation will contribute a $500 grant to a qualifying nonprofit organization at which an eligible associate volunteered 40 hours or more within a calendar year.
- Holiday Spectacular is a qualifying nonprofit 501c3 organization and is eligible for this grant.
- All State Farm active employees, agents, and retirees are eligible to participate.
- Deadline for 2011 is March 31, 2012
